Public Works Office is a design practice established by Andrew Gibbs in 2003. PWO works across the boundaries of visual communication, 3-dimensional design, digital design and craft.
The body of work generated by PWO in its eight years of practice is diverse but characterised by a focus on meaning, narrative and interpretation. The design process is collaborative and seeks to create experiences that are vivid and meaningful. PWO works closely with clients and their audiences - and regularly joins the teams of architects and designers on larger projects.
Self-commissioned projects are an important part of the mix, providing a laboratory for experimentation, and developing new skills and ideas.
