Neantóige (an Irish Gaelic word that can mean the sting of a nettle, or a cutting remark) is a limited edition drawing ink made from stinging nettles.

Because of their high concentration of chlorophyll, stinging nettles have been used throughout history for making green dyes and inks.

Neantóige drawing ink is made using a traditional method, from stinging nettle leaves, distilled water and soda ash. Wintergreen oil is added as a natural preservative.

On paper, the ink colour shades from a pale warm green to a dark olive green, with a blue/grey sheen.
